Rattlesnoaf

What a mysterious creature this is!  Much like the rattlesnakes of the Mojave, the rattlesnoaf is a denizen of the desert which hides in order ambush prey.  However, unlike a rattlesnake, the rattlesnoaf is a lot softer, stumpier, and less threatening.

The rattlesnoaf is equipped with big eyes and tiny teeth for hunting his prey.  He also features a rattling noisemaker in the tip of his tail for warning would-be predators to take him seriously! His green body is marked on the back with grey diamonds, and he has a segmented, yellow belly.  A forked, green felt tongue helps him to sense his surroundings.  He hopes to strike fear into anyone who might find him in the wild.  At least tell him that it's scary if you see him—he could use the reassurance!
